Construction begins on the Yozyovon electric bus plant

Construction has started in the special industrial zone of Yozyovon district, Fergana region, on a plant developed with the Chinese manufacturer Xiang Yang Tenglong Automobile. Reported at 170 million dollars across 10 hectares, with a capacity of 700 electric buses a year for the domestic market and for export, and commissioning set for December 2027. Electric cargo vehicles are planned to follow.
